Perennial Gardens

Please note that due to our concentration on vegetable production and attending Farmers’ Markets through to the fall, the gardens are no longer available to public tours.

Our love of gardening has helped us to expand the selection of plants that we offer in our Garden Centre. We have one of the largest selections of perennials and spring annuals in the area, including many native and drought-tolerant plants and some singular varieties not available at ‘box stores’.

The front of the house features a spectacular rock garden

Turn right between the house and the barn to enter the perennial garden – but take your time to enjoy the plants on your way.

Above you have an overview of the English style perennial garden. It is breathtaking. See how the ferns and the hostas complement each other.

Guests wandering around and admiring

You are welcome to take photographs – but please understand that we cannot accommodate young children or pets in the gardens and ask that you plan to visit the gardens without them.

Flower beds and containers are planted with a combination of zone-hardy perennials and outstanding tender-perennials that are well worth the extra care they require.

The colour palette is always changing as different perennials come into bloom from primulas and peonies to veronica and hosta to rudbeckia and aconitum.
